This year the Elena Abramova Ballet School presents two wonderful dance performances.

On Saturday June 15th, 2024 at 2 p.m. the ballet dancers will show the ballet performance “Aurora”.

The gala performance with hip hop, contemporary, classical solos and character dancers will take place on Sunday June 16th, 2024 at 11:30 a.m.

The ballet school Elena Abramova closes its doors again for the well-earned sports break. We wish all our dancing students a relaxing holiday and are looking forward to welcoming you back, starting from March 8th!

In order to consolidate the professional partnership between Online Dance Shop and Opéra, Elena Abramova and Cintia Decastelli decided to take a step forward and work together by jointly integrating their two online dance stores and thus strengthening the close operational collaboration partners.

In the future, it will be possible to see Elena Abramova in Opéra’s several dance shops providing support and advice, especially in the fitting of pointe shoes to all demanding customers who value the professional experience of a former accomplished dancer.

Starting this semester, our dance school is offering hip hop courses for dance-enthusiastic boys and girls.

The Ballet School E. Abramova successfully opened its doors again after the Covid-19 event. Due to the many missed dance lessons, the ballet school offers from July 13th to 24th free catch-up classes and and trial lessons.

„Herzensstücke“(Heart Pieces) -  13th. of April 2019

When is a relationship at its end? What does the "end" of a relationship actually mean? What is the difference between the end and the beginning of a relationship and does the end of a relationship not mean actually a new beginning?

Heart pieces is all about the development of two lovers in a relationship and the development of a relationship itself.

It refers to the first sparks of love, the daily routine, disappointments and flaws/behaviours - which makes us humans, until its end.

From this new semester on we warmly welcome Noemi to our team. She will be the new dance teacher in the Contemporary section for children and teenagers.

Noemi Di Gregorio completed his three-year training at the Zurich Dance Theater School. After that, Noemi moved to New York City. There she trained at the Limón Institute and deepened not only the Limón technique but also various contemporary styles. During her professional dance career, Noemi had the pleasure of performing with various choreographers in Europe, Asia, Canada and the United States. In addition, Noemi was a member of Spark Movement Collective, a contemporary company from NYC, for four years. As a figure skater, she appeared with a group of runners at Art on Ice. But Noemi always found time to work on her own choreographies. This showed them in New York City and Switzerland. Recently, Noemi has focused mainly on teaching contemporary and modern dance. She thinks it's great to share her passion with others. After 8 years in NYC, Noemi has been living in Switzerland since September 2017.

The born US American, originally from Whashington, moved to California to make his dance career there. There he was most recently engaged as a teacher at Culture Shock San Diego, an internationally known dance troupe, and the San Diego State University Recreation Center, and as a dancer and choreographer on TV formats (World Music Awards, NBC) and fashion shows. Andrew has lived in Zurich for many years and his professional career in Switzerland and Europe includes long-term engagements as a dancer (DJ Bobo, Bravo Supershow / Top of the Pops RTL, Sat1, Credit Suisse Sports Awards SRF1) and in leading dance schools in Zurich: Colombo Dance Factory (today Factory 101), Arena225, Holmes Place. In 2005 he founded his own school American School of Dance in Zurich. Besides, he was regularly booked as a teacher, dancer and choreoprapher in varios Euopean countries and also in Asia. Many today's dance professionals have learned from him. In recent years he has focused on musical projects, dance and music film productions (as a director and choreographer) and on events / dancebattles (organizer): "Dance2Dance International Streetdance Showcase (annually since 2005), "Danceoff" Swiss Streetdance Showcase (since 2005), "DanceMe!" the Streetdance Musical (2006), "Dance-Off-the Movie". His Ameican Dance school crew made it into the semi-finals in the "the Swiss Supertalents" in 2016, where he also gave a concert. 

Soon it's time again. The ballet school is once again planning its annual dance performance. Good preparation is the alpha and omega! Therefore, we ask you all to fill out the form and give it to the teacher. Everyone has to complete the form even if they do not want to participateboth when participating and when not participating in the event.

The time has come: The ballet school Elena Abramova says goodbye to three of the long-time dancers this summer: Chiara Oprandi, Lisa König and Julie Reperant. We wish the girls all the best and every success for the prospective professional training.

Lisa Koenig, who has regularly held ballet classes at the ballet school Elena Abramova since 2011, successfully completed the "K & S". She is expected to continue her dance education at the TaZ (Zurich Dance Academy) from the summer of 2018 under the direction of Oliver Matz and Steffi Scherzer. 

Due to her placement at the K & S, Lisa König will be offered a place in the summer program of the Dance Academy Prince Grace in Monaco, which she will accept.

The ballet school will be closed from April 23d till May 6th, 2018.

We look forward to greeting you again on Monday, May 7th, 2018 and to make the final preparations for our performance on June 24th, 2018.

As the request for more dance training with Antonella is so big, therefore there will be a three-hour hip-hop workshop on Saturday, March 24th.

The ballet student Lisa König won two awards at the International Dance Competition in La Cote, Morge (CH) on Saturday, March 03, 2018. She was awarded for 1st place (gold) in the category classical ballet as well as the 3rd place (bronze) in the category of contemporary dance.
We congratulate her and wish her further on success for upcoming competitions.

All young dancers are invited to participate and to take a peek at the peppy contemporary dance style.
